About the role

Roche Support Network offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about problem-solving in a research-focused healthcare company dedicated to discovering, developing, and providing innovative diagnostics and therapeutic products. This field-based role involves traveling to provide technical repair, installation, and support for Roche assigned product lines to laboratory customers in your assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Provide routine technical support, on-site service, repair, and installation of Roche products.
  • Serve as a customer contact for technical and service-related issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on Roche products.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures.
  • Document all service activities and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Focus on maximizing customer satisfaction.
  • Act as an internal technical resource and provide support after hours, on weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships.

Requirements

  • High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or equivalent military training or work experience.
  • 5 years of progressive experience in repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 1-2 years of progressive experience.
  • Successful completion of training or certification as defined by RD Services Leadership and policy.
  • Ability to travel, including up to 55% overnight travel.
  • Must reside within 50 miles of Memphis, Tennessee.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive experience or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus 4+ years of progressive experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical systems, information technology, and basic chemistry.

Pay

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Tennessee is $71,100 - $132,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
