Responsibilities
- Aid in evaluating field conditions and conducting acceptance testing
- Support quality assurance and quality control engineering, including materials testing
- Utilize survey knowledge to assist with project layout and work verification
- Review project drawings and coordinate any necessary design changes
- Assist with document control, managing correspondence, submittals, design releases, and other documents
- Initiate engineering design clarifications and perform quantity tracking and productivity analysis
- Update and maintain project schedules, interacting with all involved in scheduling decisions
- Respond to field inquiries for design clarification and manage subcontractor field operations, verifying contract payments
- Provide design assistance to the project engineer for the design of temporary structures using computer-aided design tools
Requirements
Field Engineer Interns/Co-ops are required to be currently enrolled in an Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar program at an accredited technical college or university.
