Responsibilities

• Aid in evaluating field conditions and conducting acceptance tests
• Support quality assurance and quality control engineering, including materials testing
• Utilize survey knowledge to assist with project layout and work verification
• Review project drawings and coordinate design changes
• Assist with document control, managing correspondence, submittals, design releases, and other documents
• Initiate engineering design clarifications and perform quantity tracking and productivity analysis
• Update and maintain project schedules, interacting with all involved in scheduling decisions
• Respond to field inquiries for design clarification and manage subcontractor field operations
• Provide design assistance to the project engineer for temporary structure design using computer-aided design tools

Requirements

Field Engineer Interns/Co-ops must be currently enrolled in an Engineering, Construction Management, or a related program at an accredited technical college or university.
