Job Requirements

  • Support Superintendents and Project Managers by completing a variety of technical field-based project management functions and assisting in the planning and execution of construction projects from start to finish.
  • Track project progress and help maintain schedules, logistics plans, and look-ahead schedules.
  • Aid in managing project documentation: RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and daily reports.
  • Support daily field operations including project layout, quality control, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Participate in jobsite meetings, assist with issue resolution, and help maintain safety compliance.
  • Coordinate with design teams, vendors, and utility providers to keep work progressing smoothly.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and adherence to project specifications.
  • Assist with project closeouts by monitoring progress and ensuring that closeout procedures are started early and completed thoroughly at each step.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • One to three years of construction-related experience preferred; internships, co-ops, or academic project experience are highly valued.
  • Familiarity with construction processes, materials, and safety standards gained through academic projects, internships or previous experience.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Excels in a dynamic, collaborative, fast-paced, small-team environment where flexibility is key.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills to manage projects from start to finish while working under pressure of deadlines.
  • Eager to learn with the ability to quickly adopt new concepts.
  • Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills interacting with all levels of internal staff, clients, architects, vendors, subcontractors, and other business partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and knowledge of project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, and Bluebeam) is a plus.

Pay Range: $70,000 - $80,000 Annually
