About the role
The Project Field Engineer position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. Responsibilities
- Develops, maintains and enhances client, subcontractor and vendor relationships
- Affirms construction schedules are maintained by trade contractors
- Updates and reviews project and 3-week look ahead schedules, daily reports, safety checklists, and ensures onsite adherence to company policies
- Captures the construction sequence of contractors for assigned trades
- Maintains quality control by frequent and regular inspection of work in progress and completed projects
- Prepares daily photos of construction progress
- Maintains construction safety and administers company and OSHA compliance program
- Supports and coordinates interface between design and field construction
- Maintains updated set of site drawings
- Prepares required field documentation and reports (monthly, weekly and daily)
- Resolves field coordination issues among contractors
Requirements
- 1-4 years of field experience on large projects for a General Contractor or Construction Manager
- Bachelor Degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of field construction: systems, practices, safety and procedures
- Working knowledge of general engineering principals and construction techniques, materials, methods, and sequencing
- Knowledge of basic scheduling techniques (i.e., Critical Path Method)
- Ability to interpret construction documents
- Positive attitude and professional customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication, problem solving, initiative, and teamwork skills
- Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, Procore (preferred)
- 30 hour OSHA certification (preferred)

Pay
The salary range for this position is $70,000 – $90,000 annually.
