The Field Construction Trainer is responsible for the implementation and delivery of engaging, practical, and field-focused learning experiences that support Stanley Martin Homes' construction team members. This role helps ensure Neighborhood Construction Managers, Assistant Neighborhood Construction Managers, Area Service Managers, and other field team members are prepared to execute Stanley Martin's construction processes, quality standards, safety expectations, systems, and customer experience requirements consistently across all regions and divisions. The Trainer partners closely with Learning & Development, Division and Corporate Production leaders, and subject matter experts to support the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of construction training programs. This individual must be a self-starter who can work independently in a remote environment while remaining highly collaborative, communicative, and aligned with team goals. The role requires being managed remotely and the ability to travel up to 30-40% to support field training needs.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Facilitate engaging construction-focused learning sessions for new hires and incumbent field team members using various forms and formats, including group discussion, presentations, field demonstrations, simulations, videos, role-plays, and hands-on coaching.
• Deliver training that supports field readiness in Stanley Martin Homes' construction processes, quality standards, safety practices, customer experience expectations, scheduling practices, documentation requirements, and field systems.
