Regional Tire Trainer(s) coordinate and partner with OEM regional personnel with a laser-like focus on dealer development and program growth.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth dealer visits focusing on Dealer Leadership, including Dealer Principal, General Manager, Fixed Ops Director, Service Manager, Parts Manager, and Service Lane Training.
- Promote GM Tire Programs with a key interest in Service Lane Operations, Tire RO Penetration growth, and related around-the-wheel service parts (Halo Effect).
- Serve as a communication liaison for GM Tire Program updates, including promotions, products, and miscellaneous tire-related information.
- Provide field and dealer feedback to the GM Business Owner for program improvements.
- Develop and standardize best practices for selling tires in the service lane across all locations.
- Train Tire Distributors on operations, incentives, communications, reports, online tools, and elements of the GM Tire Program playbook.
- Suggest and develop new tools and applications (e.g., Stocking Guide, Scorecard) for GM Tire Central and beyond.
- Design and execute programs to accelerate growth and drive sales (e.g., Expand the Expertise, Tire Clinics).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of tire industry experience, including retail, wholesale, management, training, marketing, and program development, or equivalent experience in a related environment.
- Considered an industry expert in tire retail, marketing, and management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel within Metro Market areas and occasionally to headquarters.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
- Passion for marketing discipline (products and consumers).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to engage and influence internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated project management expertise to manage conflicting demands.
- Business acumen with commercial experience.
- Aftermarket parts and service knowledge.

- Valid driver’s license in good standing and reliable transportation.
