Field Claim Investigator - TX based

About the Role

RC Services is seeking experienced and motivated Field Claims Investigators to support insurance claim investigations in TX (Dallas, Houston, San Antonio). This opportunity is ideal for individuals who thrive in fieldwork, enjoy investigative analysis, and can manage assignments independently. In this role, you will conduct on-site investigations, gather evidence, interview involved parties, and produce professional reports to support claim evaluation and resolution. This position offers an opportunity for overtime pay at 1.5x your full hourly rate. Annual salary potential up to $110,000.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough, multi-faceted insurance claim investigations in the field
• Perform site inspections including photographs, video documentation, measurements, and scene diagrams
• Locate and interview claimants, witnesses, and other involved parties
• Obtain signed or recorded statements as needed
• Evidence Gathering & Analysis
• Evaluate findings and provide clear, objective summaries and recommendations
• Maintain sound judgment throughout investigations
• Reporting & Documentation
• Prepare and submit detailed, client-ready investigative reports
• Provide timely status updates on all assigned cases
• Ensure all assignments are completed in accordance with company standards and timelines
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of investigative experience (insurance, legal, or related field), specifically in General Liability and Auto
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when needed
• Prior insurance claims investigation or adjusting experience
• Strong observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of organization and time management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic technology systems
• Active Adjuster License
• Bilingual (Spanish)
• Notary Public designation
