Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough, multi-faceted insurance claim investigations in the field
- Perform site inspections including photographs, video documentation, measurements, and scene diagrams
- Locate and interview claimants, witnesses, and other involved parties
- Obtain signed or recorded statements as needed
- Evaluate findings and provide clear, objective summaries and recommendations
- Maintain sound judgment throughout investigations
- Prepare and submit detailed, client-ready investigative reports
- Provide timely status updates on all assigned cases
- Ensure all assignments are completed in accordance with company standards and timelines
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of investigative experience (insurance, legal, or related field)
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when needed
- Prior insurance claims investigation or adjusting experience preferred
- Strong observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of organization and time management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic technology systems
- Active Adjuster License
- Bilingual (Spanish) Notary Public designation
