Field Auto Claims Adjuster - Louisana - National General
About the role
National General is a part of The Allstate Corporation, offering home, auto, and accident and health insurance, as well as other specialty niche insurance products. This role is located in the Jennings and Layfette areas of Louisiana.
Responsibilities
- Possesses strong estimating fundamentals to create or audit estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses of all severities
- Possesses a deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company
- Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments, and documents all activities in the most complex of files across multiple lines
- Evaluates settlement alternatives by reviewing regulatory compliance and fair claims practices; makes decisions on the best option
- Buils mastered relationships with both internal and external customers across multiple lines
Requirements
- 2 or more years of experience (Preferred)
Qualifications
- Background in Auto estimate writing in the field is highly preferred

Compensation
Base compensation offered for this role is $26.20 to $38.50 hourly and is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation includes base compensation and incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.).
