Fellow Neurology - MS and Neuroimmunology (MSNI) - 2027
About the role
The appointee must be a legally qualified medical practitioner, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. Appointees during their final year of advanced training in Neurology will be considered. Alternatively, appointees can be registered Fellows of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
Demonstrable relevant knowledge and experience in Neurology, Neuroimmunology or Immunology is required. Experience in teaching is desirable.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Contribute to the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Participate in clinical research projects related to MS and Neuroimmunology.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement innovative treatment strategies.
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to junior healthcare professionals.
Requirements
The appointee must have:
- A current medical registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- Experience in Neurology, Neuroimmunology, or Immunology.
- Teaching experience is desirable but not mandatory.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- A medical degree from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of five years of relevant postgraduate experience in Neurology, Neuroimmunology, or Immunology.
- A PhD or equivalent research degree in a related field.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $X per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
Schedule
The position is full-time and requires a minimum of 40 hours per week.
