Fellow - Neuro-Ophthalmology (RVEEH) - 2027
About the role
The Alfred Health Neuro-ophthalmology Service (NOPH) was established in 2018 in close collaboration with the Neuro-ophthalmology Service (ENOP) at The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. This position will participate in the Neuro-ophthalmology Services at Alfred Health and RVEEH.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the Neuro-ophthalmology Services at Alfred Health and RVEEH.
- Must be a legally qualified medical practitioner, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- Preference will be given to those who are registered Fellows of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians or Royal Australasian College of Ophthalmologists.
- Must demonstrate relevant knowledge and experience in Neurology and/or Ophthalmology, or preferably, in Neuro-ophthalmology.
- Experience in teaching is desirable.
- Required to enrol in an MPhil or PhD degree with an appropriate neuro-ophthalmology research project funded by an additional scholarship provided.

A substantive position is held with RVEEH. This position is 43 hrs/fortnight.
