Fee For Service Outpatient Therapist

Requirements

• Candidate must have completed an accredited master's level program with a graduate degree in a human service-related field, including social work, clinical counseling, and/or psychology.
• A 1-year clinical internship is required.
• Available to work with adults, children, and adolescents, and maintain a schedule that supports billing approximately 15-20 direct client contact hours per week.
• Availability needs to include daytime and evening hours to accommodate the scheduling preferences of the client caseload.
• Training and supervision are also available to support the caseload.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy services (individual, couple, and family).
• Conduct intake assessments.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions.
• Coordinate care under the leadership of the clinic director, psychiatrist, and clinical supervisor.
• Initiate active engagement of clients.
• Promote client retention.
• Provide therapy to individuals suffering from mild to severe forms of mental illness.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a human service-related field, including social work, clinical counseling, and/or psychology.
• Completed a 1-year clinical internship.
• Experience working with adults, children, and adolescents.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including daytime and evening shifts.

Skills

• Strong therapeutic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT).

Pay

• $35/hr. unlicensed.
• $38/hr. licensed.
