FCRA Litigation Associate

Job Details

Manage and support complex consumer financial services litigation matters from inception through resolution.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, briefs, and other litigation documents.
Conduct legal research and develop case strategy related to federal and state consumer protection laws.
Manage discovery processes, including document review, discovery requests, responses, and production issues.
Assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, and other litigation proceedings.
Collaborate with partners and clients to develop effective litigation strategies.
Monitor regulatory developments impacting consumer financial services clients.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
• Admission to the appropriate state bar(s)
• 3–6 years of complex litigation experience
• Strong legal writing and analytical skills
• Significant experience with discovery, including drafting discovery requests and responses, document review, and discovery strategy
• Experience drafting motions, briefs, pleadings, and other litigation documents
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Experience at a respected law firm environment preferred
