Litigation Associate

About the role

Vernis & Bowling’s North Palm Beach, Florida office is growing and seeking a driven Litigation Associate with at least 5 years of civil litigation experience. This position supports our General Liability department. We represent national corporate clients and large self-insureds who aren’t afraid to take cases to trial.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload from inception through resolution.
• Gain real, hands-on courtroom and trial experience.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft, file, and aggressively argue substantive motions.

Requirements

All applicants must be in good standing with the Florida Bar.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of civil litigation experience.
• Driven and experienced in handling complex litigation matters.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently.
• Strong oral and written advocacy skills.

Skills

• Excellent research and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with document review and production.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
