Farm Hand & General Laborer

Responsibilities

• Afford various farm tasks such as planting, harvesting, and maintaining crops.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including tractors, plows, and irrigation systems.
• Care for and handle animals, including feeding, watering, and cleaning.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm equipment.
• Help with the maintenance of gardens and greenhouses.
• Afford the construction and repair of fences, buildings, and other structures on the farm.

Requirements

• Mechanical knowledge and experience with farm machinery.
• Familiarity with equine care and handling.
• Knowledge of growing practices, including irrigation techniques.
• Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
• Experience in equipment repair is a plus.
• Understanding of animal husbandry principles.
• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment is an asset.

General labor as requested by supervisor at various project locations.
