Responsibilities
- Gather and document information from caseworkers, children, parents, relatives, providers, schools, and other resources to plan family time visits.
- Review Family Time Agreements with parents and caregivers, suggesting community resources as needed.
- Supervise family time in office or community settings, ensuring the safety and well-being of children during interactions, and document relevant information.
- Transport children to family time visits and other appointments, which may include lifting and carrying children, diaper bags, car seats, and other items.
- Collaborate with caseworkers to assess family time supervision, recommend services for case planning, and relay critical information about children and their families or caregivers.
Requirements
- One year of experience working in a human services or behavioral health setting; OR
- An associate degree in any field; OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Authorization to work in the United States (E-Verify will be used to confirm eligibility).

- Proficiency with computer skills, including iPhone, Outlook, email, IM, text, Word, and Excel.
- Physical ability to perform frequent activities such as climbing stairs, walking on uneven terrain, assisting children into and out of car seats, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions
- Primarily office-based work, with occasional travel for meetings, trainings, and case-related activities, including overnight travel.
- Work schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM, with some overtime required.
- May interact with individuals who have experienced trauma and may exhibit challenges in controlling emotions.
- Exposure to stressful situations requiring quick decision-making.
- Some travel may occur in inclement weather or hazardous conditions.
Background Checks
- Finalists will undergo a computerized criminal history and abuse check; adverse findings may result in disqualification.
- Within three days of hire, you must complete the US Department of Homeland Security’s I-9 form confirming work authorization.
