This clinician serves as a vital member of the treatment team by conducting family sessions, participating in treatment planning, providing psychoeducation, and helping families develop healthy patterns that support continued progress after discharge. The Family Therapist also plays a key role in developing and facilitating Family Weekend programming, providing both clinical and experiential interventions designed to repair family dynamics and strengthen the recovery process. What You'll Do Provide family therapy services using evidence-based treatment approachesConduct family assessments and evaluate relational dynamics affecting treatmentCollaborate with clients, families, case managers, and the multidisciplinary treatment teamParticipate in treatment planning and ongoing clinical case reviewsFacilitate psychoeducation for families regarding mental health, substance use, communication, boundaries, and recoveryDevelop individualized therapeutic interventions that support successful reunification and discharge planningHelp coordinate and facilitate monthly Family Weekend programmingProvide individual therapy when clinically appropriateAssist with therapeutic group facilitation as neededProvide crisis intervention and family support during periods of clinical instabilityMaintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentationCommunicate significant clinical concerns promptly to the Clinical Director Our Clients May Present With The Family Therapist will work with clients experiencing a variety of behavioral health challenges, including: DepressionAnxiety DisordersTrauma and PTSDMood DisordersBipolar DisorderEmotional DysregulationSelf-Harm BehaviorsSuicidal IdeationAggressionSubstance Use DisordersFamily ConflictCo-occurring Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders Minimum Qualifications Education Master's Degree in: Marriage & Family TherapyCounselingClinical Mental Health CounselingSocial WorkPsychologyBehavioral HealthClosely related behavioral health field Licensure Georgia licensed or license-eligible as one of the following: LMFT (Preferred)LPCAPCLCSWLMSW Associate-level clinicians actively working toward independent licensure are encouraged to apply.
