Family Support Coordinator
About the role
Devereux Arizona’s Community Based Services provide rapid, intensive, in-home support for youth between the ages of 2-17, focusing on essential life and emotional regulation skills, behavior reduction, anger management, coping with trauma-related behaviors, and communication techniques.
Responsibilities
- Teach essential life and emotional regulation skills to youth in a natural setting such as home, school, group home, foster care, or kinship placement.
- Work with a caseload of 3-5 individuals, providing one-on-one support and crisis intervention.
- Coordinate with the Child/Family Team, handle intakes, perform case management, and maintain chart documentation.
- Provide mileage reimbursement, work equipment, and flexible scheduling based on individual/family needs.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 4 years of full-time behavioral health work experience; or a combination of education and experience totaling at least 2 years.
- Valid Arizona Driver's License and pass DMV 36-month history check.
- Pass drug test within 24 hours of offer with negative results.
- Pass current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions.
Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years of full-time behavioral health work experience.
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in a field related to behavioral health.
- Ability to commute throughout Pima County utilizing your own vehicle (with mileage reimbursement).

- Experience working in behavioral health, with families and at-risk youth.

Pay and Schedule
- Pay Range: $21 - $23.10/hr
- Full Time Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday; ability to work afternoons/nights (as late as 8:30pm)
