At the Children's Developmental Center, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to reach their fullest potential. As a Family Resource Coordinator (FRC), you'll become a trusted partner for families of infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities, helping them navigate Washington's Early Support for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) program with confidence, compassion, and hope.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate referrals and multidisciplinary evaluations
- Guide families through the ESIT process from referral through transition to school services
- Develop and coordinate Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs)
- Connect families with community resources and support services
- Care for early intervention services in home and community settings
- Maintain accurate documentation using our electronic health record system
- Partner closely with therapists, providers, school districts, and community agencies
- Advocate for children and families every step of the way
Qualifications
- Experience working as a Family Resource Coordinator or in a similar role preferred
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, children, or families
- Knowledge of community resources and family support services
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; experience with electronic health records is a plus
- Ability to obtain DCYF/ESIT Family Resource Coordinator certification within 90 days of hire
- Valid Washington State Driver's License, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
- Ability to travel locally for home visits and community appointments
