Build a full-scope family practice in Clearwater, BC—90 minutes north of Kamloops and six hours from Vancouver—where you’ll find meaningful medical work, deep community ties, and direct access to Wells Gray Provincial Park’s waterfalls, rivers, and backcountry trails.

Facility and support

• Wells Gray Medical Clinic: centrally located in town, five minutes from the hospital, supported by an experienced MOA team.
• Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital: 24-hour Level 1 community hospital with 24-hour Emergency Room, six private acute care beds, six ER stretchers, and a 21-bed Long-Term Care Unit.
• On-site services: Laboratory, ECG, Radiology, Physiotherapy, Home Care, Home Support, Public Health, Environmental Health & Protection, Diabetes/Dietitian teaching, and Mental Health services via Yellowhead Community Services.
• EMR: Med-Access / Meditech Dr. Helmcken Memorial.

Compensation

• Estimated remuneration: $400,000 – $450,000 (includes rural fee premium).
• Physician overhead shared equally among physicians.

Additional incentives

• Retention Premium: 20.02%
• Retention Flat Fee: $31,025
• Relocation funding: $9,000 – $15,000 depending on move location
• Recruitment Incentive: $20,000
