Family Practitioner/General Practitioner
About the role
White Rock–South Surrey has a variety of family practice clinics seeking locum coverage, with start dates ranging from August 2026 into January 2027 and beyond. Hours per week, days per week, and EMR platforms vary by clinic; our clinics are flexible and can accommodate your preferences. Efficient support staff and nurses work alongside physicians, and the physician will provide comprehensive longitudinal primary health care services to meet the needs of the local community. Work schedules are self-directed, with the option to mix in-clinic and virtual visits.
About Our Primary Care Network (PCN)
We are in our fifth year as a Primary Care Network—one of the first in British Columbia. Our vision is to improve patient wellness by creating a collaborative, coordinated system of care so patients receive the right services in the right place. All family physician clinics in White Rock–South Surrey participate in the PCN, which will include approximately 27 additional clinicians such as nurses, social workers, patient educators, pharmacists, mental health clinicians, and counselling services.
Location and lifestyle
Practice family medicine in the scenic seaside community of White Rock–South Surrey, known for highly rated schools and abundant recreational opportunities including cycling, forest trails, and water sports at White Rock and Crescent Beach. White Rock is five minutes from the U.S. border and 45 minutes from downtown Vancouver.
Compensation
Compensation is a combination of physician overhead and billing split, with variations by clinic.
