About the role
Outpatient Primary Care Physician in Florida, serving Medicare Advantage senior patients in a value-based care setting.
Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive outpatient care with a focus on prevention and maintenance.
- Managing smaller patient panels, typically seeing 12-15 patients daily.
- Encouraging preventive visits, proactive outreach, same-day urgent appointments, and transitional care.
- Utilizing electronic medical records, ICD-10 coding, and STAR measures to ensure quality outcomes.
- Delivering patient-centered service in state-of-the-art facilities with a dedicated team.
- Providing high-quality, patient-focused outpatient care in a supportive environment.
- Collaborating with a quality team committed to achieving better health outcomes.
- Engaging in proactive patient outreach and preventive care strategies.
Qualifications
- Medical Doctorate (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), preferably in Family, Internal, or Geriatric Medicine.
- Florida medical license, DEA license, and current CPR certification (BLS, ACLS, PALS).
- Ability to complete a pre-placement Tuberculosis test.
Skills
- Proficiency in EMR systems, G-Suite, and database programs.
- Effective communication, problem-solving, organizational, and task prioritization skills.
