About the Role
Outpatient Primary Care Physician positions available in various Florida locations, providing comprehensive care to Medicare Advantage senior patients. This role focuses on smaller patient panels with 12-15 patients daily, emphasizing prevention, wellness visits, proactive outreach, same-day urgent care, and transitional care management. Practice quality-based, outpatient medicine in state-of-the-art facilities with a patient-first approach.
Responsibilities
- Deliver proactive, preventive care to Medicare Advantage senior patients
- Manage smaller patient panels of 12-15 patients daily
- Conduct wellness visits and same-day urgent care
- Perform proactive outreach and transitional care management
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) efficiently
- Problem-solve complex medical cases
- Collaborate with a dedicated team to improve patient outcomes
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Active Florida medical license
- DEA license
- Up-to-date CPR certification
- Proficiency with EMR systems
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding and STAR measures
- Strong communication skills
Qualifications
Preferred backgrounds in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
