Key Responsibilities
- Own the full-cycle bookkeeping, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Track intercompany transactions and ensure proper documentation
- Prepare financial data and reports to support leadership decision-making
- Auxiliary budgeting, expense tracking, and financial organization
- Understand and maintain clarity of financial flow across entities (not just transaction entry)
- Maintain and organize financial systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel)
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of financial data
- Support reporting processes by preparing clean, structured data sets
- Assist with family office and shareholder support
- Aid in the preparation of financial reports and materials for ownership
- Support communication and coordination with family stakeholders
- Support philanthropic and foundation support
- Aid in financial tracking and reporting for charitable initiatives (e.g., Regal Foundation)
- Aid in stewardship and organization of giving activities
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial operations
- Experience supporting executives or business leaders
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment with changing priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- 7-10+ years of relevant experience in financial operations or family office environments
- Background in small business, family office, or entrepreneurial environments
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strengths aligned with high ownership and organization (e.g., responsibility, discipline, analytical thinking, and ability to coordinate multiple priorities)
