Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
About the Role
Community Health Center of Central Wyoming (CHCCW) is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. This position offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care services while making a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of individuals and families throughout our community. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), CHCCW is committed to delivering high-quality, accessible healthcare to all patients regardless of their ability to pay.
The FNP/PA is a licensed healthcare provider responsible for delivering outpatient primary care services to patients across their lifespan. Working within the scope of practice established by the State of Wyoming, the FNP/PA independently evaluates, diagnoses, treats, and manages a wide variety of acute and chronic health conditions while promoting preventive care and healthy lifestyles.
Work Environment
- Primarily outpatient clinic setting
- Occasional travel between clinic sites or community-based care locations may be required

Responsibilities
- Independently evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage a wide variety of acute and chronic health conditions
- Promote preventive care and healthy lifestyles
- Deliver outpatient primary care services to patients across their lifespan
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of a recognized and accredited training program for Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants
- Must be able to demonstrate competency in the clinical skills necessary to perform a range of primary care services
- Licensure by the State of Wyoming and by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is required
- Successful completion of substance abuse testing as a condition of employment
