Family Medicine Physician - Locum Tenens

About the role

We are seeking a Board-Certified or eligible Family Medicine Physician to provide outpatient care in a geriatric-focused nursing home setting. The role involves managing a caseload of 20-25 patients daily across multiple facilities, performing compliance-driven visits, histories and physicals, and federally mandated assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive family medicine services
• Exercise prescriptive authority
• Perform compliance-driven visits, histories, and physicals
• Complete federally mandated assessments
• Handle administrative duties totaling approximately 40 hours monthly
• Provide call coverage from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM (calls routed to advanced practice clinicians)
• Travel between facilities, with distances ranging from 0.5 miles to 1.5 hours apart

Schedule

• Day shifts, typically from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Four days a week
