Family Medicine Physician - Locum Tenens

About the Role

This outpatient clinician position involves providing comprehensive family medicine services within a correctional facility setting. The clinician will manage approximately 20 patients per day, conducting evaluations, managing chronic and acute conditions, and offering preventive care, all while maintaining accurate medical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver primary care to adult male patients
• Conduct thorough patient assessments
• Manage chronic and acute illnesses
• Prescribe medications and document clinical findings
• Collaborate with facility staff to ensure quality healthcare

Requirements

• Active Ohio medical license
• DEA registration
• BLS certification
• Board certification or eligibility in family medicine or related field
• Ability to manage a patient load efficiently
• Strong documentation and communication skills

Schedule

20 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, during daytime hours.
