About the role
This role is for a licensed and board-certified Family Medicine physician to provide comprehensive healthcare services in a correctional facility setting.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of approximately 30 adult patients daily
- Conduct health assessments
- Manage chronic conditions
- Handle medical emergencies
Work environment
On-site within a secure government correctional facility, utilizing paper documentation systems during regular hours.
Schedule
Five days a week, Monday through Saturday, with 8-hour shifts and no call duties.
Qualifications
- Board certification in Family Medicine
- Valid medical licensure for practice in the state
