About the role

This position is part of a collaborative team at an award-winning hospital partnering with private practice to grow primary care. The role offers flexible hours and schedules, including the option to work three 12-hour shifts or four and a half 8-hour shifts. Access to established specialists is provided.

Responsibilities

• Participate in patient care and treatment
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
• Provide preventive care services
• Manage patient referrals to specialists
• Contribute to the growth of the primary care practice

Requirements

• Medical license in North Carolina
• Completion of medical school and 3-year residency in family medicine
• Board certified or board eligible in family medicine

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Experience in family medicine
• Passionate about community health
