About the role
The University of Missouri Department of Family & Community Medicine seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to join a dynamic team delivering exceptional care. This position involves seeing Family Medicine patients for ongoing health care conditions, preventative care, and acute care needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and demonstrate high level of autonomy and expert skill in the diagnosis and treatment of actual and potential health problems.
- Perform patient histories and physicals exams; order and perform diagnostic procedures; monitor patient condition, lab values and results of diagnostic procedures, and develop treatment goals.
- Collaborate with MDs in difficult or complicated cases as per collaborative agreement.
- Act as a resource for patients, families, nursing staff, and other health care professionals in the area of expertise.
Requirements
- Physician Assistant (PA) licensure by the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts.
Qualifications
- Experience in primary health care and performing selective medical services.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Skills

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.

Pay
Salary Range: $105,000 - $126,000 annually

Shift: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
