Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) (Float)

About the Role

This position is for an experienced or new Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a Primary Care setting. You will cover providers' patient panels during their absence due to disability, FMLA, or vacation, and conduct acute telemedicine visits from home. The role offers flexibility to balance work and family while delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
• Health education and chronic illness management
• Cover patient panels during provider absences (disability, FMLA, or vacation)
• Conduct acute telemedicine visits from home
• Work within a team environment in office and examination room settings
• Potential travel to other practice locations
• Follow infection control policies
• Serve patients of all ages with access to patient information per HIPAA Level 4 roles

Requirements

• Current New York State licenses as RN and FNP or PA
• Strong communication skills
