Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner - Locum Tenens

This role is for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in a primary care clinic within a Federally Qualified Health Center. Responsibilities include: Providing comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, including routine visits, gender-affirming care, substance use treatment, mental health concerns, physicals, and sick visits.Work environment: Structured outpatient clinic with a collaborative team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and behavioral health specialists, utilizing the EPIC EMR system.Schedule: Monday through Friday, with potential for four 10-hour shifts, seeing approximately 10-15 patients per day.Qualifications: Active Oregon license, Oregon DEA, BLS or ACLS certification, and at least 2 years of primary care experience. Experience in urgent care is not preferred. Knowledge of gender-affirming care and substance use disorder treatment is a plus.Key skills: Prescriptive authority, ability to work independently within a team, and experience managing diverse patient populations. Additional details: No call required; on-site location; serving a diverse patient population across all ages; COVID and flu vaccinations are preferred but not mandatory.
