About the role
Provide outpatient primary care services in a correctional facility clinic to adult patients in San Jose, California.
Responsibilities
- Conduct sick visits and urgent care for a patient census of 600-800, with a caseload of 12-20 patients per day
- Deliver timely, structured clinical care within correctional protocols
- Manage patient needs efficiently in a structured outpatient setting
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Support
On-site support staff includes MD, APP, RN, and EMS.
Requirements
- Board certification
- Prescriptive authority
Skills and attributes
- Strong clinical skills
- Ability to work independently within protocols
