Responsibilities
- Treat patients in a clinic setting, providing medical care under the supervision of physicians.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat common medical conditions, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Provide patient education and counseling on preventive health measures and lifestyle changes.
- Document patient encounters accurately and maintain patient records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development activities.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in North Carolina.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience working in a clinic setting preferred.
