Responsibilities

  • Treat patients in a clinic setting, providing medical care under the supervision of physicians.
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat common medical conditions, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on preventive health measures and lifestyle changes.
  • Document patient encounters accurately and maintain patient records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development activities.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in North Carolina.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner.
  • Experience working in a clinic setting preferred.
