What You'll Do

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services including health assessments, physical examinations, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that promote preventive care, wellness, and healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and incorporate findings into evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Prescribe medications and other therapies in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, disease prevention, and health maintenance.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, specialists, care managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate seamless, high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records while ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
  • Advocate for patients by promoting continuity of care and connecting them with appropriate community and healthcare resources.

What We're Looking For

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current Maryland Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse licensure (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to providing patient care).
  • DEA and CDS eligibility.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for delivering compassionate, patient-centered primary care.
  • Prior Family Medicine or Primary Care experience is preferred but not required.
