About the role

As our Family Medicine Faculty, you will serve as a Preceptor to the resident physicians who provide medical care in our community-based outpatient clinic as well as inpatient care (at our 450-bed flagship hospital), both located in Newport News, VA.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Preceptor to the resident physicians
• Provide medical care in our community-based outpatient clinic and inpatient care at our flagship hospital
• Teach and mentor resident physicians
• Participate in the development and implementation of the family medicine residency program

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board certification in Family Medicine
• Experience in teaching and mentoring resident physicians
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to teaching and promoting evidence-based medicine
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

$285,000.00 - $335,000.00 Salary - Type Yearly
