About the role

A respected community-based Family Medicine Residency Program in the Southeast is seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine physician to join its faculty team. The incoming physician will join a stable, collaborative program culture with long-tenured faculty. The program is located near Memphis, TN, offering easy access to culturally rich attractions, mild weather year-round for water sports, hunting and fishing, boutique shopping in historic downtown, an extremely affordable cost of living, safe neighborhoods, great schools, and Southern hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Faculty role integrated across outpatient clinic, inpatient service, procedures, and didactics
• Supervise and mentor residents in a collaborative academic environment
• Work in a modern clinic with onsite lab, imaging, Epic EMR, AI-assisted documentation, pharmacist, social worker, and administrative support
• Dedicated administrative and scholarly time built into the schedule
• Participate in inpatient teaching service approximately every 7–10 weeks
• Contribute to quality improvement and scholarly activities
• Engage in leadership and professional development opportunities within a growing academic environment

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine

• Eligibility for faculty appointment in a Family Medicine residency program

Skills

• Clinical supervision and mentorship of residents
• Procedural competence in outpatient and inpatient settings
• Didactic teaching and curriculum development
• Proficiency with Epic EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with pharmacists, social workers, and support staff

Pay

$226,800.00 – $252,000.00 per year

Schedule

• Dedicated administrative and scholarly time built into the schedule
• Inpatient teaching service approximately every 7–10 weeks
