Family Medicine DNP - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the role

This role involves providing outpatient primary care services at a student health center in New York.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 8-10 adult patients daily
• Address general family medicine issues such as concussions and eating concerns
• Respond to critical test results after hours and on weekends
• Maintain patient safety in an outpatient clinic setting
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Provide high-quality primary care services to an adult student population

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break. Clinicians must be available after hours and on weekends for critical test result follow-up.

Requirements

• Current New York State (NYS) license
• Infection control certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Prescriptive authority
• Annual flu vaccination

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years outpatient experience is preferred.
