Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the Role

Provide outpatient primary care services in a Federally Qualified Health Center, serving patients of all ages with a focus on marginalized populations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of approximately 18 patients daily, including walk-ins, acute care, and chronic disease management.
• Collaborate with dedicated support staff, including medical assistants and dietitians.
• Prescribe medications and provide comprehensive outpatient care in a clinic setting.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years family medicine experience.
• Experience serving vulnerable populations.
• Prescriptive authority.
• COVID vaccination (with exemptions considered).
• Board certification is negotiable.
• No call coverage required.

Schedule

Day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch. Part-time candidates considered.

Work Environment

On-site outpatient clinic with support staff including dedicated medical assistants and dietitians.
