About the role

The Family Medicine Advanced Practice Provider will work with a collaborative team including the physician, APP, nurse, and certified medical assistant to provide patient care in an ambulatory setting. There is a possibility for in-office procedures and a broad scope of patients, including mostly adults with approximately 20% pediatric cases.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the physician and team to provide comprehensive patient care in an ambulatory setting.
  • Perform a wide range of medical procedures under the supervision of a physician.
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients based on their needs and the guidance of the supervising physician.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and education to maintain and enhance clinical skills.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant.
  • Two years of clinical practice is preferred.
  • Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse/physician assistant licensure.

Pay

The compensation range for this position is $56.37 - $73.29/hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.

Schedule

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
