About the role
The Family Medicine – Greater Phoenix Metropolitan Area Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) system is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE) Family Medicine physicians.
Responsibilities
- Competitive base salary offered plus annual productivity incentives – to be discussed with employer directly
- Outpatient primary care practice
- Flexible workweek structured as four 10-hour or five 8-hour shifts
- Average patient volume of 18-20 patients per day with dedicated administrative time (4-5 hours weekly) built into template for charting and care management
- 30-minute appointment slots for new/complex patients; 15-to-20-minute slots for routine follow-ups
- Outpatient phone-only call rotation (approx. 1 week every 8 to 12 weeks) with no hospital rounding
- With after-hours calls filtered through an integrated nurse triage system
- Optional clinical teaching and preceptor roles available through medical school affiliations
Requirements
- Board Certification in Family Medicine
- Current Arizona Medical License
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications
- Experience in outpatient family medicine preferred
- Strong clinical skills and ability to manage a busy caseload
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
