About the role
We are seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join the team. This full time, in person role offers the opportunity to handle a broad range of family law matters, work closely with experienced attorneys, and receive mentorship in a collaborative environment. The position also includes a structured performance based bonus program. Practice Area Family Law - The job entails representation of clients in general family law matters, including divorce, custody and asset management.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of family law matters from initial consultation through resolution.
- Represent clients in matters including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, and related family law proceedings.
- Develop case strategies and advocate for clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
- Prepare legal documents, pleadings, motions, discovery, and court filings.
- Conduct legal research and provide well reasoned legal analysis.
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide exceptional client representation.
- Collaborate with experienced attorneys and legal staff on case strategy and litigation.
- Maintain high professional standards and effectively manage deadlines and caseload responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Active license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction.
- Member in good standing with the State Bar.
- Prior experience handling family law matters.
- Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
- Motivated professional who works effectively in a collaborative, in person environment.
