Family Law Attorney

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced family law attorney to join our team in a supportive, collaborative workplace where relationships matter and experience is valued.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters from inception through resolution.
• Handle client consultations, case strategy, negotiations, and settlement discussions.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and other court proceedings.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Effectively manage deadlines, caseload, and case-related responsibilities.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to provide high-quality legal representation.
• Develop and maintain a book of business, where applicable.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of family law experience, preferably in Texas.
• Strong knowledge of Texas family law procedures and regulations.
• Board Certification in Family Law is strongly preferred or willingness to become certified.
• Proven ability to independently manage a family law caseload.
• Strong litigation, negotiation, research, and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and client-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Texas Bar admission in good standing.

Pay

$85,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year (depends on experience)

Schedule

Primarily in-office; some flexibility to work from home based on caseload and business needs.
