Under supervision of a program administrator, implement the family partnership program including family goal setting, social services support and parent engagement that meets the Performance Standards of Head Start and state regulations.

Responsibilities
- Implement the family partnership program, including family goal setting and social services support.
- Engage parents in program activities and services.
- Ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and state regulations.
- Travel to various locations to conduct work.
Requirements
- Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school.
- One year of experience in child development, social services, or related programs such as community-based social services organizations or preschool programs.
- Must complete agency-sponsored family development certification within 18 months of hire or provide documentation of similar certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling, or a related field.
- Must comply with Senate Bill 792 immunization requirements for influenza, pertussis, and measles.
- Department of Justice, FBI, CACI fingerprint clearance, tuberculosis skin test clearance, and pre-employment physical/drug screen clearance will be required prior to employment.
Qualifications
- Bilingual skills in English/Spanish are preferred (Farsi, Dari, or Arabic also beneficial).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Pay
Pay range: $21.95 - $26.88 per hour. Initial salary placement is restricted to a maximum of Step 3 ($24.44/hr.) for external applicants.
Schedule
- 261 days per year.
- 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM).
- Full-time employment.
Benefits
A benefit entitlement for health, dental, and vision coverage is available for positions that are at least 4 hours per day. The amount of the entitlement is based on the number of hours worked per day.
