About the role

Mott Haven Middle School is seeking a Middle School Co-Ed Soccer Head Coach for their part-time and seasonal program positions during the school year. The position is on-site at 20 Bruckner Blvd, Bronx, NY 10454.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement soccer training programs for middle school students
• Manage team logistics including scheduling practices and games
• Work closely with school administration to ensure compliance with all policies and regulations
• Encourage positive behavior and sportsmanship among players

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of coaching experience at the middle school level
• Strong knowledge of soccer rules and regulations
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Excellent communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field preferred
• First Aid/CPR certification

Skills

• Effective leadership and motivational skills
• Ability to work with diverse groups of students
• Experience with youth development programs
