About the role
The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation are seeking two full-time physiatrists (MD/DO) with interests in spine, sports, and musculoskeletal medicine.
Responsibilities
- Expand capacity to care for spine and musculoskeletal disorders, including through the use of innovative, multidisciplinary clinics that focus on comprehensive care and follow population health models.
Requirements
- Candidate must be board certified/eligible in PM&R and successfully demonstrate strong organizational, communication, teaching, and leadership skills.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience and demonstrated scholarly productivity in research, teaching, and/or administrative leadership and service for Associate Professor level.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience and the ability to demonstrate the attainment of superior stature and national/international reputation in their field of knowledge for Full Professor level.
- Less than 5 years of experience considered for Assistant Professor level.
