Assistant Professor - Family Medicine, Sports Medicine

The Texas Tech Physicians Family Medicine Clinic is committed to providing high quality patient care. Responsibilities

• Provide Sports Medicine care for local universities and high schools including care in athletic training rooms and sharing faculty coverage at athletic events.
• Assess and treat sports-related injuries including sprains, strains, fractures and concussions.
• Produce presentations for Sports Medicine lectures to various learners and students.
• Attend and contribute to weekly Sports Medicine didactics sessions.
• Contribute in scholarly work.

Requirements

• MD/DO or equivalent.
• Completion of USMLE Step 3.
• Completion of a Family Medicine Residency.
• Completion of, or in the process of completing, a Sports Medicine Fellowship.
• ABMS board eligibility.
