Assistant Professor- Family Medicine/Sports Medicine

Job Duties

• Caring for diverse patient demographics to include patients of all ages in a supportive, community-focused environment
• Diagnosing and managing musculoskeletal injuries such as sprains, strains, and fractures
• Developing personalized treatment plans that may include medication, physical therapy, and rehabilitation
• Providing preventive care and education on injury prevention and healthy lifestyle practices
• Collaborating with physical therapists and athletic trainers to ensure comprehensive care
• Performing diagnostic tests; use of certain diagnostic medical devices

Requirements

• Family Medicine and Sports Medicine board certified or board eligible
• Licence to practice medicine in the State of West Virginia required at time of employment

Qualifications

• Preferably with experience in both Family Medicine and Sports Medicine
• Experience in providing preventive care and education on injury prevention and healthy lifestyle practices
• Experience collaborating with physical therapists and athletic trainers
