Assistant Professor- Family Medicine

About the role

The position includes a faculty appointment of an Assistant Professor in the school of medicine. Rank and salary are commensurate with education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care for patients with occupational and environmental health issues
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
• Contribute to research in occupational and environmental disability medicine
• Participate in community outreach programs related to occupational and environmental health

Requirements

• Current medical license in West Virginia
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in family medicine or a related field
• Experience in occupational and environmental medicine is preferred

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
